Skinny Oreo Banana Milkshake {Guest Post}

Today I have the pleasure to be guest posting at my best blogging buddy Henna's blog My Ninja Naan! I can't even remember how I discovered Henna's blog.  I remember when I would visit she would make things that I had recently also made or things that I would most definitely want to make.  We both posted the same Spinach Quiche and Wheat Thins recipes.  Henna posted a recipe for Garlic Knots which I had also made but never posted about because they over rose and where humungous!  I had long ago pinned the Jalapeno Popper Chicken recipe she posted but have never gotten around to making it because half of my family are not cheese fans.

We really started to connect earlier this year in February when my father had passed away.  She offered me support as if she had known me for years.  Since then we have exchanged emails and we even had the pleasure of having Henna and her family over at our home.  So please head over to My Ninja Naan to check out my guest post!

  1. the word skinny always give me jitters... i've never been one and would love to be one, but then i know with the way i am, i would never be one!!! :D hoping over to henna's blog to view the recipe...

  2. I see lots of skinny words here and there... .Def this must be yummy .hopping to hennas blog

  3. lovely guest post dear, will check out the recipe.....

  4. This is so good! I've actually saved a few Oreos from the Rice Krispie Treats to make this, lol :)
    Thank you so much Asiya for doing this! Your words really went straight to my heart... You're so sweet :)

  5. Btw, I made this today and it is FAB! I always have bananas in my freezer because I tend to always have a few bananas left out that brown too quickly, so now I just peel them, stick them in a ziploc bag, and then throw them in the freezer. They always come in handy for a quick smoothie :)
    I would totally blog about this, but it's already up on my blog hahaha :) This really is delicious!

    1. I'm so glad it turned out well! The coconut sugar totally didn't work with this. Did you end up getting some? I find when I use it raw in things I don't like the taste.

    2. I ended up using regular sugar in this, and yeah I did end up buying some coconut sugar from bulk barn the last time we were in Canada. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like it's a little less sweet than regular granulated sugar.

    3. The coconut sugar is definitely less sweet than granulated sugar. The more I use it I find that I prefer to mix it with regular sugar in baking.
