This is another breakfast made just for Hasan.  He loves waffles.  This is a recipe I got from Joy of Cooking.  We had more than we could eat so I froze the leftovers.  They can be heated them up in the toaster when you want to have them again.  We had this with some maple syrup.

You can add up to 1 cup of butter for an even better waffle but I will just stick to the amount I used to keep them lower in fat.

Joy of Cooking

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (have successfully substituted 1/2 cup with whole wheat flour)
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted (can add up to 1 cup if you don't mind the fat)

1 1/2 cups milk

Heat up your waffle iron.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, butter and milk.  Make a well in the dry ingredients.  Add the wet ingredients and with a few quick strokes combine the ingredients.

Add about a quarter cup of batter and cook according to you waffle iron directions.  Serve hot with some maple syrup!  Leftovers can be frozen and reheated in the toaster.
